Volunteers Make Our Branch Run!
The Legion is Canada’s largest Veteran support and community service organization.
We believe in the power of people working together to make a real and meaningful difference.
All Executive Officers and committees of the Legion are volunteers. We could not operate our programs without this integral support from our commmunity.
When you step up to volunteer with our Legion, you are entering a network of community; local volunteers committed to the objectives of a defined national mission.
Our mission is to serve Veterans, including serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote Remembrance, and to serve our Communities and our Country.
Volunteers may be helping to raise money at events like Bingo, Meat Draws and 50/50’s, or serving on a committee with others who have common interests.
To find out more, please contact our branch who can transfer you to the Volunteer Chairperson.
