Mission Statement:
Our mission is to serve veterans, which includes serving military and RCMP members and their families, to promote remembrance and to serve our communities and our country.
About the Canmore Legion:
Formed in 1926, the Royal Canadian Legion is Canada’s largest veterans organization, with over 330,000 members nationally. The Canmore Branch has over 600 members.
In the 1980’s, the Canmore Branch name became Three Sisters Branch #3 to reflect the famous mountain viewed from in front of the building – the Three Sisters.
The sign shown here features the artwork of Michael Vincent, long-time local artist in Canmore, and a proud member of the Branch.
Many community programs are supported, particularly in the areas of youth and seniors.
