The Remembrance Day 2022 parade and ceremony will be held outdoors at the Canmore Legion (834 7th Street, Canmore, Alberta) on November 11th, 2022.
Veterans, serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces and allied Armies, please arrive at the Legion for 10:00 am. The parade will form up at the east end of 7th Street at 10:30 am and then march to the Cenotaph at the Canmore Legion.
We invite the public to come and participate in the Act of Remembrance and service. After the service at the Legion, the Colour Party will travel to the Field of Honour for a Remembrance Ceremony.
The Legion is open after the ceremony and we invite you in for food, beverages, conversation, and remembrance. The Canmore Legion in conjunction the with RCMP Canmore Detachment are raising funds for the Veteran’s Food Bank and will be accepting cash and non-perishable food donations.
