Hello Comrades, December 2018
Well here we are heading into the Holiday season! Hope you’re all ready for Christmas!
So, what do we have for you this month, well we kick off with the CHILDREN’S XMAS PARTY which will be held on Sunday 9th Dec from 2 till 4pm. There will be face painting, activities and of course SANTA will be in attendance!! All are welcome so bring your little ones or maybe someone else’s little ones down to meet SANTA!!
On Saturday 15th Dec 2 till 4pm we have our annual Christmas singalong with VALLEY WINDS for a JAZZY CHRISTMAS, this is always a wonderful celebration of Christmas and a chance to give to the local FOOD BANK. There is no charge, but donations are gratefully accepted.
New Years Eve this year will be a night to remember with the ELEKTRIC SQUIRRELS! This will be a night to remember (if you’re sober), seriously this promises to be a fantastic night so get your tickets early! $20.00 in advance and $25.00 on the night if available.
The Early Bird membership draw is coming up, the last day to pay your dues to enter is this Friday and a huge thank you to ALPINE HELICOPTERS who have presented us with the prize of a Helicopter flight for two!! Thanks guys and good luck to everyone who paid their membership early to have a chance to enter!
Our last General Meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday 18th Dec at 7.00pm prompt. May I remind everyone that this is the final night for nominations to the executive, anyone wishing to stand must have attended three meetings prior to the October nomination meeting and be a current member. A vote will also be held on this night if required.
Remember, Bingo on Fridays at 7.00pm and free Texas Hold ‘Em Poker is every Thursday at 7.00pm.
