Well it looks like summer has gone straight to winter this year but don’t worry we have events to warm you up!!
Sat. Oct. 6th sees the return of “THE CRITTERS” this will be their last show of the season so come down and enjoy, party starts at 8.00pm. Tickets are available at the Legion or on the door and are $10.
Sat. Oct. 20th heralds the return of “JASON SCOTT” and his “DIAMOND FOREVER” show a tribute to Neil Diamond. This was a fantastic show last time he was here and one not to be missed. Tickets are on sale behind the bar and are selling fast so don’t miss out!!
On Sat 27th Oct we are hosting the District 8 ball Pool Doubles. If anyone is interested in entering please put your names on the contact sheet on the notice board by Oct 13th. Please note all entrants MUST have paid their 2019 dues to Canmore Legion to be eligible to play.
On Sun. 28th Oct the Legion is hosting an “OPEN HOUSE” for paid up Members and Spouses from 2pm to 4pm. There will be a light lunch provided and there will be members there to answer questions regarding BRANCH ADVISORY, VETERANS LIASON, MEMBERSHIP & HONOURS AND AWARDS so please try and attend. Early bird membership is now available so pay your dues now for the chance to win a prize!!
On Sat. 3rd Nov we have a local band, “CATFISH RIOT” performing. This is their CD Release Party so please come down and support your local talent! Tickets will be $10 available at the bar.
Remember, Bingo on Fridays at 7.00pm and free Texas Hold ‘Em Poker is every Thursday at 7.00pm.
The next General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 16th October at 7.00pm prompt please try and attend.
