Happy Easter!! Well the weather is more in keeping with Christmas than Spring but better weather can’t be far away, can it?
So last month saw us celebrate St Paddy’s Day and what a celebration it was! Sully’s Garage & Friends did us proud and we had a fantastic night’s entertainment. A huge thank you to them and their friends and to all who came out to make it such a successful sell out night!
We also hosted a crib tournament last month that was well attended with 13 teams competing. The overall winners were Derek and Aron with 10 points. Thank you to PINKY’S DINER for providing an excellent lunch as usual and to Donna and Sheila for organising the event.
On to this month now and we are kicking off with a GARTH BROOKS tribute act on Wednesday 18th April. This promises to be a great evening with the first half being all Garth Brooks songs and the second half will be songs from the likes of Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Neil Diamond, Elvis and many more! This is two great shows in one evening! You won’t want to miss this so get your tickets now from the bar or online at www.brownpapertickets.com tickets are $20 and the show starts at 7.30pm.
On Saturday 28th we have the ever popular HIGHLY STRUNG UKELELE BAND performing in the afternoon at 2.00pm. This is always a well attended event so get there early if you want a seat and maybe grab some food from PINKY’S DINER.
There are still a number of people who have not yet paid their dues for 2018. If you happen to be one of them, please see any member of staff who will be pleased to assist in getting you up to date, thanks.
Remember, Bingo resumes next Friday at 7.00pm and free Texas Hold ‘Em Poker is every Thursday at 7.00pm.
