Remembrance Day - November 11

The Legion takes on the major responsibility for the perpetuation of remembrance by organizing November 11th Remembrance Day ceremonies honouring those who gave their lives in wars and military missions around the world, and does this through the Annual Poppy Campaign. air cadet commander salute

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

"For the Fallen" by Laurence Binyon (1869-1943)
